The online card catalogue.

German Cards is slightly back. The hosting provider has apparently generously increased the space allocation so there is scope for expansion. Most of my efforts in recent years have been on www.csgb.co.uk. However I have rewritten German Cards so that it uses the same basic format so that new information can be added in parallel to both sites. Germancards still provides everything you wanted to know about German collectable cards and more. Anyone who just wants a list of German card issues will find one in Köberich. However if you want to know about errors, variations, changed cards or maybe just sets that haven't made it into Köberich yet you couldn't have come to a better place. This catalogue is far from complete but there is still a lot of useful information here, much of it from my own discoveries. It also has the great advantage that changes can be made almost instantaneously. You don't have to wait for years for a new printed catalogue. And of course German Cards contains illustrations. The e-mail contact details remain removed. It got to the point where over 97% of my e-mail was spam so I changed addresses and am not publicising the new one. In any case, most of the e-mail I got was of the type "How much is it worth then?". This site is for collectors and a true collector collects for the pleasure of having the cards, not for their value. Collectors know me and know where I can be contacted. If all you want to know is a price have a look in e-bay to see if your cards are being sold there.
