Ross Verlag, Berlin.
The Ross Verlag was founded in 1910 by Heinrich Ross and was a leading publisher of pictures of leading film stars as well as various postcards. The company was "aryanised" in 1937. The name Ross was continued until 1941 when the company was renamed Film Foto Verlag.

Film Star pictures were released as "Mäppchen" (packet) pictures in series of ten cards in a small packet. Shown here is the unfolded packet for series 852. |
