This is possibly the rarest of the Reemtsma albums, although the pictures themselves are more common. Issued in 1939, the album was commonly used as a childrens' book during WW2 when not much else was available. The result is that albums in good condition are very rare as small children tended to mess them up. After the war, Reemtsma still had vast stocks of the pictures. These were apparently obtainable into the 1950s and are still very common even nowadays (2000). The pictures were drawn by Prof. Paul Hey.
